Megan T. Poole, MD
Dr. Poole believes being a parent changes you. You quickly realize the most important thing in the world is the life of a child. As the mother of two precious children, she believes a pediatric practice should foster an environment of grace, compassion and true connection. She believes children should know they are adored, safe and very worthy by not only their parents but by those entrusted to care for their health and wellbeing.
After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in biology, she attended the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, graduating in 2003 and completing her pediatric residency there in 2006. She has been a Pediatrician in Lexington since and has had the privilege of walking families through every phase of life.
She has two children, John David and Claire, who are the loves of her life. She loves animals and running and caring for her families! She loves what she does, and her hope is to provide a nurturing environment to care for children and families whether during times of stress, heartache or joy! She will never take for granted the trust she has been given each and every day by our families!
